I just wanted to show you what I have personally. I don’t give this out to many people because I was just experimenting.
My neighbor referred me to a friend of his, Jennifer, to help her out with a couple of her home computers. Jennifer has such a wonderful attitude and personality that it makes it very easy to help someone out like that. I’m trying to convince Jennifer to one day update her home computer so she doesn’t have to use her Celeron pc with 256 mb of ram. For computer literate people that’s known as an older computer. I guess as long as it meets her needs, there’s not an urgency to do so.
The project I had started for Beth is now completed. I’ve cleaned all my mess I made in their driveway and made sure everything is to their satisfaction. Looks like I even inspired Beth’s mom, Sandy, to paint the room a nice yellow to give it some warmth and color. It looks like a whole new space completely. I even helped Sandy fix their printing issue and Kirra’s closet door issue. I’m glad I was able to do all of that for them. I’m now planning on their laundry room project. I’ve been building a priority list of what things can be done there because there are some really major tasks at hand there.
I also was able to run to my neighbor’s parent’s house on Wednesday, Daisy and Rob Cohen, to fix their wireless networking problem and outdoor plumbing problem. Seems like they needed the home wireless network setup and secured. Took care of that for them and took about 30 minutes to solder on a new hose bib for them. Their old hose bib was broken and the only way to replace it was to remove it with a propane torch. Luckily I had a torch in handy to do the job.
The task to create the survey is pretty much completed as well. I ended up using surveymethods.com for the price and the easy interface. I did evaluate surveymonkey and other sites, but the price of surveymethod was unbeatable monthly. They all pretty much do the same things so it came down to price point. I just have to tweak the surveys more as they evaluate it.
Today I had the pleasure to go meet Beth at her house and give her an estimate for a job to insulate, drywall, and paint her ceiling in her family room. Looks like I’ll be starting to do the job for her on Thursday. She also has a laundry room outside that she wants to fix up and make it a lot more efficient and clean. I’ll be thinking about the space from the pictures I’ve taken and give her some ideas of what we can do to make it better for her.
To add to my list of items to do I will also be designing and evaluating the best way to send out a survey for my wife’s facility. I’m evaluating a software package and also the online method of doing it. It seems like it would be better the online method, but they charge a monthly fee to do that through them. I think they prefer to keep all the data inhouse and in their control. We’ll see where my evaluation leads me.
Thank you for visiting my website. I hope that I will be able to provide a necessary service and some advice to you on all your home and technology needs. Please write comments and questions here if you’d like. I’ll be happy to answer anything that’s on your mind.
